Editorial Standards

We publish guidance on buying and selling property in Dubai in twelve languages. This page sets out how that material is produced, what it rests on, and what happens when we get something wrong. It describes what we do, not what we intend to do.
1. Who writes this
Our editorial team produces every page and MARNER REAL ESTATES LLC is answerable for all of it. We publish no guest posts, no sponsored articles and no paid placements. No developer, bank or law firm pays to appear here, and none sees a page before it is published.
2. Sources
- Every figure carries a source and the date it was checked. Both are printed at the foot of the page.
- Where an official source exists and may be republished, we cite it: a government portal, a regulator, a tax authority.
- For Dubai market figures no official transaction dataset is currently licensed to us for republication. We therefore cite published market reports and name their publisher openly, so you can weigh the source yourself.
- A source is dated. A figure checked in July 2026 says so, rather than implying it is true forever.
3. What we do not publish
A number we cannot source does not appear. Where a figure is widely quoted but not verifiable: yields, running costs, price forecasts — several of our pages say so in the text and decline to give one. We would rather leave a gap than fill it with an estimate that reads like a fact.
We publish no forecasts. We do not describe a property, an area or a developer in terms we cannot support.
4. How current this is
Each page shows its publication date, and a revision date once it has been revised. We set a revision date only when the content has actually been re-checked, never to make a page look fresh. Where a subject moves quickly, such as visa thresholds, the page names the date its facts refer to.
5. How we are paid
MARNER ESTATES is an advisory and brokerage. We are paid a commission when a transaction completes. That is a conflict of interest and you should read us with it in mind. It is also the reason our guidance names risks and costs a purely promotional page would omit: a client who buys badly is not a client we keep.
6. Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us. We check the claim against its source. If it is wrong we correct it and set the revision date on the page, and where the correction is substantive we say what changed. We do not quietly delete a page to make an error disappear.
